Privacy Policy
GardenPoster Privacy Policy
GardenPoster is operated by Whole Kaisin LLC. The app helps you turn garden images, plant details, and layout choices into AI-assisted garden posters. This policy explains what data is processed, why it is used, and how to contact us.
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Information We Process
GardenPoster may process the following information when you choose to use related features:
- Garden/source images, sketches, screenshots, drone photos, plant photos, and generated poster images.
- Garden layout details such as plant markers, labels, plant names, notes, style choices, and quality tier.
- AI request content, including prompts and image payloads needed to enhance images, identify plants, create care tips, or generate garden posters.
- In-app purchase details such as product ID, transaction ID, purchase date, Apple environment, and entitlement tokens used to verify and grant paid credits.
- Rewarded ad events such as ad placement, reward transaction ID, credit tokens, and related anti-fraud or retry state.
- Basic technical data such as request time, error logs, IP address, device/network metadata, and service diagnostics generated by our backend or hosting providers.
How We Use Information
- To provide image enhancement, plant identification, care suggestions, and garden poster generation.
- To save and reopen local projects on your device.
- To verify Apple in-app purchases and grant paid generation credits.
- To verify rewarded ad credits and prevent duplicate or fraudulent reward use.
- To diagnose errors, protect the service, enforce usage limits, and improve reliability.
- To respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
Local Storage On Your Device
GardenPoster stores project data locally so your garden project can reopen later. This may include selected images, layout data, saved layouts, generated poster history, purchase/credit retry state, and related app settings. You can clear local project data inside the app from the Privacy & Support section in the Poster tab.
Backend And AI Processing
When you ask GardenPoster to identify a plant, enhance an image, create care tips, or generate a garden poster, the selected content is sent to the GardenPoster backend. The backend may send relevant images, prompts, and context to AI service providers such as OpenAI to complete the requested action.
Third-Party Services
GardenPoster may use these service providers to operate the app:
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for in-app purchases and purchase verification.
- Google AdMob for rewarded ads.
- OpenAI for AI image generation, image enhancement, plant identification, and care text generation.
- Render or similar hosting providers for backend hosting, logs, and service operations.
- Expo services for app builds, updates, and mobile app infrastructure.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We require service providers that process user data for GardenPoster to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable Apple requirements. GardenPoster does not sell your garden images or project content.
Ads And Tracking
GardenPoster uses rewarded ads to let users earn some app credits. We configure ads for contextual or non-personalized use where practical. Ad providers may still process device, advertising, usage, and diagnostic data to deliver, measure, limit fraud, and protect ads. If GardenPoster enables tracking that requires Apple App Tracking Transparency permission in the future, the app will request permission before that tracking occurs.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. GardenPoster receives purchase transaction information from StoreKit and sends transaction details to the backend to verify the purchase and grant the correct generation credit. GardenPoster does not receive your full payment card information.
Retention
Local project data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Backend purchase, entitlement, ad reward, usage limit, and diagnostic records are retained as needed for service operation, fraud prevention, purchase/reward retries, legal compliance, and support.
Your Choices
- You can deny photo or camera access, though related image features may not work.
- You can clear local project data from the Privacy & Support section in the Poster tab.
- You can choose not to watch rewarded ads or make in-app purchases.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of backend records associated with your support request, where applicable.
Children's Privacy
GardenPoster is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to GardenPoster, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the information we process. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please avoid uploading sensitive documents or private information that is not needed for garden planning.
